Γενικοί Όροι Συμμετοχής

1. REGISTRATION – SEAT RESERVATIONS

Any person over the age of 18 is entitled to register for one of our organized trips. If they have not reached the age of 18, they must have previously obtained the consent of both guardians or those exercising parental responsibility. If requested, they must provide the relevant consent in writing with the original signature of the signing parent/guardian (KEP/Police). Registration can be made either by visiting our company's offices or by correspondence (postal or electronic), or by fax or via our website at www.naxostheproject.gr. It is expressly clarified that in order to reserve a place on a particular group trip, it is a prerequisite that the amount of the respective advance payment or the entire amount of the value of the trip in question has been paid, depending on the particular package, the unconditional acceptance of these terms and conditions as well as the receipt of a relevant confirmation message from our office. The relevant payment receipt must indicate the distinctive details of the trip in question (indicatively and not limited to: destination, departure and return dates, etc.). Participation applications are accepted before the scheduled departure of the trip, depending on the particular trip. It is expressly clarified that failure to pay the entire value of the trip fourteen (14) full days before the scheduled departure gives the travel agency the right to cancel the participation. The advance payment in this case is not refundable.

2. TRAVEL TERMS - TRAVEL PRICES - CHARGES - etc.

The value - price of each trip is referred to in our current price list. It is clarified that the prices may change due to changes in the cost of fares-additional fares, fuel costs, any type of tax/fee, airport taxes, etc. It is understood that our office bears no responsibility for adjustments that will occur in accordance with the above. The traveler's refusal to pay the additional amount that will result from the above adjustments and will be notified to him entails the cancellation of his participation in the trip. In this case, any amount paid up to that point will not be refunded to the traveler. It is expressly clarified that our office reserves the right - for a specific period of time or a specific number of seats - to sell seats at more favorable prices and with special cancellation terms. Any availability of seats at a lower price than the initial one does not entitle the remaining travelers to demand a corresponding discount or to cancel their participation. It is also expressly clarified that child charges vary on a case-by-case basis from an offer of free accommodation in hotels and ships to a small discount (usually for ages 2-12 and provided that they are accompanied and paying by two adults)

3. OBLIGATIONS – RESPONSIBILITIES OF TOURIST ORGANIZATION

Our agency is fully responsible for the proper execution of the package as a whole. In order to provide its services more fully, it reserves the right to change or modify the predetermined program of the excursion, when deemed necessary, without prior notice. It is expressly clarified that the agency does not have its own means of transportation (indicatively: airplanes, buses, ships, etc.) or accommodations (indicatively: rooms, hotels, etc.) so it is not responsible for their proper or non-operation. Similarly, it is not responsible for actions and/or omissions of third parties and their associates as well as for emergency situations, such as cancellations, strikes, changes or abolition of transportation routes, and in general for any situation of force majeure or fortuitous event. (indicatively and not limited to such are understood as: accidents, epidemics, terrorist acts, bank holidays, etc.).

4. OBLIGATIONS – RESPONSIBILITIES OF TRAVELERS

Each traveler is obliged to fully comply with the terms of each program, the instructions of the escorts and tour guides. In addition, each traveler is responsible for the correct provision and/or completion of his personal information, where required. In the event of an incorrect or false declaration and/or completion which will result in the traveler being unable to travel or being charged an additional amount by the airline or other company, then the agency bears no responsibility. He is solely responsible for his timely arrival at the meeting and/or departure points. Any delay on his part that entails the loss of the program does not entitle him to a refund of part or all of his money. He must find a way to connect with the rest of the group at his own expense and care. Furthermore, it is expressly clarified that in the event that the traveler demonstrates a lack of consistency and/or violates the above, then the agency reserves the right to cancel his participation. In this case, the traveler is not entitled to request a refund of the money he has paid up to that point.

5. TRAVEL DOCUMENTS, VISAS AND HEALTH FORMALITIES

All travelers abroad - depending on their destination - are required to have a valid passport or a new type (with Latin characters) of police identity card. Our office provides travelers-Greek citizens with all possible information about the necessary travel documents they are required to have. However, it is expressly clarified that each traveler is solely responsible and liable for knowing what the necessary travel documents (identity card, passport, visa, etc.) of the country of which they are a citizen are and which are required for crossing borders or during the control of airports, ports, etc. They are also responsible for having them in their possession throughout the trip and to show them whenever requested by the competent authorities. It is understood that in the event that due to the traveler's fault (lack or damage to the travel document or its expiration or non-issuance of a visa) it is not possible to cross the border or to be checked by the competent authorities, then the traveler waives the right to continue the excursion. Our office bears no responsibility for and the traveler is not entitled to any refund or other compensation.

6. CANCELLATIONS

Cancellations of participation by the traveler are only made in writing to our office and regardless of the date of the reservation, are subject to the following cancellation fees per person, depending on the time at which the cancellation is made, while they are independent of whether the corresponding amounts have already been paid by the travelers or not: 1) For cancellations until 01/05/2021, the traveler has the right to free cancellation with a refund of the respective advance payment he has paid. 2) For cancellations up to 30 days before departure, the traveler is charged a cancellation fee of 50.00 euros. 3) For cancellations up to 15 days before departure, the traveler is charged a cancellation fee of 150.00 euros. 4) For cancellations up to 14 days before departure, the traveler is required to pay the entire value of the trip to our office. .

7. BAGGAGES

The traveler is obliged to comply with the instructions of the transport companies regarding the weight, dimensions and the number of luggage allowed per traveler. Any non-compliance will result in the traveler being responsible for any additional charges that may arise. Luggage is transported under the responsibility and care of its owners, regardless of whether or not there is an escort of representatives of our office. In the event of damage or loss, the corresponding conditions-regulations for each means of transport and for hotels apply. It is expressly clarified that our office bears no responsibility for any damage and/or loss of luggage or its contents.

8. HEALTH FORMULATIONS

The traveler is obliged to be informed in a timely manner by any appropriate means about the health regulations of each country as well as the vaccines and/or medicines that he may have to procure. In addition, he must comply with the updated protocols for the transfer and movement of passengers in public transport. Travelers who face health problems should obtain the consent of their doctor in order to travel by presenting the relevant medical certificate or a solemn declaration that they can travel without endangering their own health or life or that of third parties. Our office bears no responsibility for illness, injury, loss of life, accident or other health emergency during the trip. In addition, it is expressly clarified that our office has no obligation to cover the relevant expenses and changes to the travel program, which will continue smoothly.

9. PERSONAL DATA

The traveler accepts that the agency will use his/her information (keeping it in a database, in accordance with the current and applicable legislation on personal data, as amended and in force - indicative and non-restrictive provisions of Law 4624/2019 "On the protection of individuals from the processing of personal data" and the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679), to inform about its products and services, as well as to inform by telephone or via text messages (sms) or via email (email) about new products and services. In the event that the traveler wishes in the future to confirm or modify the forwarding of his/her data from the agency's database, as well as in the event that he/she wishes to revoke his/her present consent, he/she may at any time and without any charge, inform the agency at the email address [email protected]. In addition, the traveler, in the event that he/she wishes to exercise his/her legal rights in accordance with the current and applicable legislation, namely - as indicatively and not restrictively mentioned the right of access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, portability, opposition - may at any time and without any charge, inform the agency at the email address [email protected].

10. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

Any dispute that may arise between our office and the traveler will be resolved in good faith. If this is not possible, the Courts of Athens shall have jurisdiction.
